Bayless vs Russell 1915 deposition - Tennessee

I now have this Deposition.William C. BAYLESS was the son of James BAYLESS and Narcissa HICKS.Wm. C. married Florence N. PECK, daughter of Wiley Hawkins PECK and ?.She was the granddaughter of Judge Jacob PECK of Jefferson Co., TN, and granddaughter of Judge Adam PECK, a pioneer of Jefferson Co.
Family information in this Deposition does not include the name of Florence's mother who died c. 1860 at the time of her daughter's birth.Florence's parents were married in CA, moved to LA, where the mother died and then returned to Jefferson Co., TN.Wiley PECK left his infant daughter with his sister Margaret PECK and left to join the war.Wiley was killed in the war and Margaret adopted her niece.
The Law suit concerned lands that were left to the PECK heirs.Florence was the only surviving heir and had originally inherited one fifth of the lands.
Professor W. T. RUSSELL had administered the estate and seems to have tricked W. C. BAYLESS out of some of the land with no compensation.
I do not know the outcome of the suit.
If you can ID the mother of Florence N. (Peck) BAYLESS, I would like to know it.She may have lived in Yuba CO., CA.
Thanks!
