First of all there is no question that Abednego Senior is
part-indian if not more because cherokee records show that
he definitely was. As to the Schultz conundrum I really
don't know. But one thing definitely needs to be said
about the baize/baze stories is that they don't match the
actual facts, why is unclear. Hyrum Abednego's son according
to the kids was married to a cherokee woman, nowhere can
i find any facts to substantiate that but that his wife's
father came from a cherokee enclave. What i am trying to
say is that you may have the facts but thats a far cry
from the real story. If you go by the supposed facts,
none of the children are sarah pinkley's she married
abednego in 1858. It used to be a practice to name your
children at least some of them after their mother and
father, none of my baize/baze's named any of their children
mary period. But the name Sarah is in every generation
for 4-5 generations. If mary was indeed the mother why
not name at least one girl after her. I don't want to
rock anyones boat in this forum but I think it may take
a paradigm switch to get to the truth. Can you entertain
the idea that the Senior bazes may have been lying to
protect their children, because according to some of the
bazes they told of being on a trail of tears with their
mother who was a Sarah. Could the confusions in the family
story be caused by the indian connections. But this myster-
ious sarah is in the baze story well before they supposedly
meet for the first time and mary in 1858. Is it possible
that Abednego had either two wives or one wife with
two names, not a farfetched as you might think. I am not saying that mary schultz is sarah pinkley but what i am saying is that the facts have to match up with actual events. Were some of the bazes on the trail of tears, did abedengo have two wives one inian one not,and were the
kids a mixture of these two wives. Is it possible that we have an indian past and not a european one as we have been
told. Parents love their children and would do anything to
protect them even tell lies. But in the end a lie is a lie
and will eventually harm the very people it was meant to
protect. I don't know if you will agree with me but i
believe that the Senior Baize/Baze clans ie,Starting with
Abednego senior and possibly before perpetuated a monumental coverup of the actual facts because of their indian heritage, and the inian removal act by president andrew jackson. This may actually show up in later generations with some of the baze children coming down with
American Indian Health problems and not knowing how or why
they have been stricken.
