Thanks for your information Earl. Just some info that you may need in your quest. I don't have many Beachman's but I do have 2 cousins that I have corresponded with in their 90's for years. They said our Baltimore, MD Beachamns name originally was Beauchamp and that they came from the Alace boarder of France and Switzerland I believe-I know the Alace area is accurate. They had no documentation because they gave it to a nephew who has not shared. Although your family went to Virginia we may still be cosuins. :-) Think our Beachman's settled in Baltimore around late 1700-1820's-there is also Beauchamp in those early census's FYI.
