I can't think of an Ebb Beacham right off hand, but that doesn't mean he isn't in my family tree. Ebb could be a nickname for any number of names. My 4th great grandfather, Alexander, was sometimes called Alex, Aleck, Ellick, etc. Can you give me more information about Ebb... where he was born and where he lived, when born and when died, name of his wife or wives and children?
There is a Beachum/Beacham/Beecham web site where a number of descendants of my family (and of other Beacham families in the US and Europe, etc.) compare notes and share information. It was set up by Allan Beecham, who is a descendant of some of the Anson Co., NC Beachums who went to Tennessee, and is called "Beechams of Tennessee," though it is certainly not limited to that State or that spelling of the name. There are folks there who know a great deal about the Beachum families that stayed in Virginia, that stayed in NC, and that went on to Tennessee, Alabama, Mississippi and Texas. You, or anyone else, would be most welcome to join. The web site address is:
John Field Pankow
(descendant of Beachums of Anson Co., NC)
