Mr. Pankow,I am hoping this message I am posting gets to you .I am replying to this message because it was your latest on this forum. I am interested in the Beverly Shelton in your messages. I noticed by your postings that you had several surnames that match mine from dna testing for my Nelson/Shelton couple. I am looking for the parents of my g.g.grandmother Julia Ann Shelton born 1823-1828 in Rowan Co.,N.C. There were only 2 Sheltons I can find listed in Rowan Co.,N.C. around the 1810-1820 in Rowan Co.,N.C. One was a Crispen Shelton and one was Henry R. Shelton md to Elizabeth Lawrence Morgan.I do not know who the Crispen Shelton belonged to, but Henry was the son of Vincent and Susannah Robertson Shelton from Pitts. Va.I have heard that there were 2 Henry Sheltons , one being the son of Spencer Shelton ,brother to Beverly Shelton. My question is do you have a Julia Ann Shelton in your line. I have Deweese,Wolf, Bailey,Williams,Taylor surnames in my line. With Deweese being an unusual name I thought maybe you could help. I have not been able to connect my Shelton to a Deweese.I live in Rowan Co.,N.C. and would really appreciate any help you would possibly give .
