My "Biel" family comes from Uder, Germany. I know they lived there in the late 1700s until at least 1944. The sons of Antonius "Anton" Biel and Anna Kanngiesser, moved at some point to Berlin. I know for sure that their son Josef Biel came to the US and their sons Sebastian and Friedrich mave have as well.
Their children were all Baptized at St. Jacobus Church in Uder.
Maria Anna Biel died in Uder on Dec 23, 1943.
I also know that she married Sebastian Glorius, but I have no other information.
Could there be a connection?
