The Beals and their son Lewis jnr,of Beals Island Maine USA were penfriends of my son Neil in the late 70's.
Our surmame was then Parker. Last heard of Lewis snr had to give up lobster fishing. Sara and I wrote for a while, but lost contact shortly after I remarried. Sara had a pet name for my daughter Sarah. The real Sara will know what that was. We did share a telephone call in the 80's, whilst I was still living in Hull. I would like news, as I discovered photo's and memento's recently whilst sorting'stuff'. I'd be interested to discover how they are doing now and to exchange updates on our families.
