Abia Beal shows up in the Morgan County Census in 1830 thru 1850. In 1850 he states he is 55 years old; however, in 1830 and 1840 he is shown to be between 40 and 50 in both census records so he could be a little older. 1821 Lottery for Monroe County show Abia Beal from Morgan County drew a lot in Monroe County which was moved to Pike and then to Upson County. I also have found that he married in Morgan County in 1829. The 1850 census shows that he was born in Georgia and his father was born in Virginia. Does anyone have any idea who his father would be. I do find Abia Beal in VA but I have no idea if he is related. Any help appreciated.
