I would also like to find out about Philip Beall who married Mary. They had 7 dau. and 2 sons. Nancy Beall (b) 7 April 1786 (d) 5 June 1841 (bur) St. John's Cemetery (m) Reuben Freshwater II, Rebecca Beall (m) David Freshwater, Elizabeth Beall, Ruth Beall (m) Samuel Still, William Beall (m) Jane/Jean Wilson, Margaret Beall (m) Robert Campbell, Jane Beall (m) Alexander Campbell, unknown son, unknown dau.. Birth order unknown, as I have questionable dates of birth on all but Nancy.Philip Beall died in 1805 without a will, Mary's will was dated 17 June 1812."Philip Beall was born in Maryland of Scotch parentage. In early life he came to Hancock Co., W. Va. and took up a tomahawk claim of 600 acres." Per the Freshwater Families Research and Genealogy 2nd edition, by Edleblute, Freshwater and Freshwater. Sighting, History of Washinhton Co., PA by Beers- page 700 also History of Washington Co., PA -Crumrine - page 373.
Any help with sources and research location ideas would help as I plan to be "east" in Sept. 2004 to do research!
