Thomas,
Thanks for the response.I would certainly be interested in more information on the DNA testing.I have done little research on my family, but am interested in learning more. Will the testing help me connect to a line that has already been researched by more competent individuals?
As to the Nathan Beall in my line.I have a death certificate for his son, Elisha, at home in my files so I may be able to come up with some dates to post on this web-site.I will do that as soon as I can, but he lived, the best I can figure, in Carroll County, MD in the middle 1800's.His son Elisha Nicholson Beall died in 1939 or 40.Elisha's wife, Katherine, died in 1960 at age 90 years, so she was born in 1870.So I guess both of their parents were born somewhere around 1850.I've seen the Robert Beall line that included a Nathaniel, but I would guess that was way before my Nathan.
Another reason that I think there might be a connection to Ninian is the name Rezin (Reason),I believe Ninian had a descendant by the name Rezin.Rezin had some military history (I have more info in my files) and might have been a grandson of Ninian. My middle name is Roby. The name Roby goes back 3 generations. In researching the name Roby I came upon a Rezin (Reason) Roby.He also was military and a Marylander. The name Rezin and the surname Roby seem to beunique and I thought maybe there might be a connection there.
Thanks again for your response and I am looking forward to hearing from you.....
George
