Charles of Ninian had a sister Jane Beall. However, she had married Archibald Edmonston and was having his children by 1703 or so.This Jane would have been a mother in a relatively prominent family, so it's hard to imagine her keeping an ordinary, although it's not hard to imagine Charles carousing.
Ninian in his capacity as captain of Lord Baltimore's yacht, brought a number of "kinfolk" over from Scotland, so there could have been any number of Beall's named Jane in those days who were distantly related but not so well off as Charles' sister.
