Does anyone have Ruth's Parentage? I have Moore relation also on my fathers side. James Moore b. abt. 1711 in Ireland married Jane Walker. Jane is the daughter of John Walker of Wigton Scotland and Katherine Rutherford. Jane is sister to my ancestor Samuel Walker b. 25 Dec 1714 Newry, Co. Down, IRE..md Jane Patterson.
James is the son of James Moore and Elizabeth Caldwell.
James and Jane's son Capt. James Moore md Martha Poage. Both Killed by Indians. James died at Abb's Valley, Tazewell Co., VA.. Martha was Killed in Chillichothe, OH.. Are these Moore families related?
