Does anyone know if Rachel (daughter of Ninian) married James Veatch? This seems to be an area of confusion. I have recently traced my ancestory back to James and Rachel. However, there is so much discrepency in this union. One thing that I have seen that makes me want to believe that Rachel is the daughter of Ninian and Ruth. All of Rachel and James Veatch's children were born in Beall's Pasture and one of their children was named Ninian. Does anyone have any kind of proof that this Rachel was actually Ninian and Ruth's daughter? I notice mention that Rachel's last name was Hepburn and also that she married an Orfitt. It appears that the Hepburns were in the area at the time, having signed some of the documents relating to Beall's back then. Any help in finding out more would be greatly appreciated.
