Hmmm...... This is actually helpful.

It appears that Grafton was a possible nephew of my Thomas and Rachel.

I can personally think of no other explanation of a connection between the two.

I know for a fact of the existence of Thomas and Rachel and their son Elias and his wife as I have census records, etc. linking them with appropriate dates.

It's the Thomas Beal/Beall/Beale that is the mystery. Was he the brother (legitimate or illegitimate) of Alphaus and a Benjamin?

This is something to think about. Thank you.
