Alexander Beall - Margaret Ramsay 1500s-1600s

There appear to be two different couples of an Alexander Beall married to a Margaret Ramsay. Alexander Beall (b1565, Largo, Fife, Scotland) married Margaret Ramsay (b1569), and their grandson Alexander Beall (b1624 or 1625) married Margaret Ramsay (b1630). Dr. James Beall and Anne Marie Calvert (both born abt 1603) are the middle generation here.

A third Alexander Beall (b1649), the son of this second pair, appears to be confused with his father in many of family trees that I see online. Or perhaps I'm the one that's confused.

Does anyone have any definitive information on this part of the Scottish Beall line?
