I am the GGGrandaughter of Seaborn Bearden, B. 1815.
My GGrandfather is Andrew J. Bearden B 12 June 1854, 4th son of Seaborn's.
Andrew J. Bearden went on to California in early 1880's. He probably left Tennessee with Seaborn to go West.
We have another Bearden cousin who I am working with that's
Seaborn's GGGrandaughter too, and we CANNOT for the life of us figure out who Seaborn's father is. I didn't know much about my Bearden's ancestry, my father passed way young and I don't think he knew anything about him except he was from Tennessee. But our cousin knows alot of early Bearden family history told down from old relatives and has alway heard Winn was Seaborn's father. But we cannot locate the right Winn. I have done hours and hours of research, it's a mystery. Too many of the forenames are the same.
Yes I am interested in your Bearden genealogy and can give you mine. I have a very old photograph of "Charly Harris and Johnnie Bearden" (my Andrew was known as John, you might be interested in being a Harris. I don't know which man is who, maybe you would? I can send you the JPG.
Arthur Bearden did have a son named Seaborn but he died 1859 of typhoid fever. And I have researched Thomas Beardens and no evidence of Seaborn.
I did not have your email so I sent this from here
hope to hear from you soon, Ellen Beardon (Bearden)
