I am very excited to see your message.I am also a natural
redhead and granddaughter of Luther Bearden
This is the information I have:
Thomas Alfred Beardenborn May 19, 1864 in Perry County.
Married Sarah Elizabeth Lawley Bearden born Dec, 13, 1866 in Shelby County
They had 9 children:
Molly Belle Bearden Born Oct 21, 1885 died Oct 1956
Bessie Bearden Born Jan 28, 1888
Tora Ann Bearden Born Oct 10, 1890
Ada Mae Bearden Born April 9, 1893 died Aug 1958
Luther Lincoln Bearden (my grandfather) born Oct 31, 1895
died July 12, 1970
Henry Arther Bearden born 1898 died 1954
Rosa Lee Bearden born July 21, 1901
Peddie Alfred Bearden Born Sept 27, 1904 died Oct 22, 1979
Floyd Alton Bearden born June 8 1907 died Mar 25, 1942
There was a Calvin Bearden that lived directly behind my Grandparents and I remember as a little girl going over and playing with his children.Calvin farmed some of my grandfathers land.
I have more information if this is correct family.May be as there are many redheads in our line.I have a copy of a deed that Thomas A. Bearden donated land to the school community by the Salem Grave Yard. I was always
told he donated land for a cemetary, but the deed says it was gven to Salem School Community.
