James and Isabelle (Livingston) Beattie of Ireland

My great grandmother, Sarah Beattie, was born in 1836 in Northern Ireland. She was the daughter of James and Isabelle (Livingston) Beattie. I would guess that they were born somewhere around 1800. They immigrated to Canada about 1850 or before, probably to Huron Co. She had at least two brothers, one Robert (Robbie) and the I believe was James. Although Canadians, my father said that they each fought in the American Civil War. One on each side. There were probably other children. A sister of either James or Isabelle was a Mrs. MacDonald of Seaforth, Huron Co, Ontario. Does this ring a bell with anyone.
