I am glad that we have been able to clear up that mystery for you. It is sometimes difficult when we have these second marriages to confuse things.
As far as the family of Joseph, I can give you some information along those lines.
Joseph Amable was the( son of) Joseph Beaudoin and Emilie Gilbert-Comtois who were married 20 August 1849 at St. Felix de Valois. Joseph (spouse of Emilie Gilbert-Comtois) was the son of Joseph Beaudoin and Julie Belanger who were married 13 Jan 1824 in Louiseville, Riviére du Loup. Emilie Gilbert-Comtois was the daughter of Jean-Baptiste Gilbert-Comtois and Sophie Gravel who were married in 6 Feb 1826 in St. Cuthbert.
Joseph Beaudoin (spouse of Julie Belanger) was the son of Joseph Beaudoin and Marie-Louise Rivard who were married on 8 April 1782 at Ste. Anne-de-la-Pérade. Julie Belanger is the daughter of Augustin Belanger and Marguerite Juineau.
Joseph Beaudoin (spouse of Marie-Louise Rivard) was born about 1760, was the son of François Joseph Beaudoin and Marie-Josephte Renaud who were married 19 April 1751 at St. Charles des Roches, Grondines. Marie-Louise Rivard is the daughter of Nicolas Rivard and Madeleine David, who were married 14 Aug 1755 at Deschambeault
François-Joseph Beaudoin (spouse of Marie-Josephte Renaud) was born 19 July 1723, baptized 20 Jul 1723 at St. Anne-de-la-Pérade. He was the son of Jean-François Beaudoin and Marguerite-Josephte Ricard who were married 27 Nov 1713 at Ste. Anne-de-la-Pérade. Marie-Josephte Renaud was the daughter of Jacques Renaud and Madeleine Gipoulon.
Jean-François Beaudoin (spouse of Marguerite-Josephte Ricard) was born about 1688. He was the son of Antoine Beaudoin dit St. Antoine and Marie-Anne Dania/D'Agnia who were married about 1687 at Lotbinière.
Marguerite-Josephte Ricard was born 27 Oct 1693 and baptized 29 Oct 1693 at La Pérade. She was the daughter of Jean Ricard and Madeleine Pineau/Pinot.
We do not know the parents of Antoine Beaudoin dit St. Antoine. He was a member of the Carignan Soldats.
He was married to Marie-Anne Dania/D'Agnia daughter of Jean-Pierre Dania and Marguerite Vaillante.
I hope this helps you out. I would like to know more of the information about Amable's family, his children,grandchildren and so forth. My mom's family would love to learn more about their cousins.
We sometimes have reunions in Vermont for the Beaudoin/Laroche family that we are a part of.
