Joy, I hope we have found a connection here.
My great, great, great, great-grandmother was Letitia Hungerford b. 1749 Married Richard Hedges Becher b 1750. They had two sons and one daughter that I know of - Frances Eyre, b.1772, d.1843, John Becher b. 1774, Henry Owens Becher b. 1775 d. 1864 Henry is my direct line. Now John Becher married Susanna Hungerford b. 1778. I have no information any further than that. All of the above were from County Cork. My great great great grandfather Henry, had a huge estate just outside of Skibbereen. It seems very possible that this may be the connection, as Johns mothers name is Letitia. I have been unable to go back any farther than Richard Hedges Becher. As far as Letitia Hungerford is concerned I have a pile of her genealogy.
