Dear Mr. Dale,

My name is Max Becher and I am thirteen years old. My great-grandfather was Edward Becher (b.1-19-1893 d.5-21-1970), brother of Mary Becher who married John Bauer, your grandfather. Here is some information that I know:

My great-great-great-grandfather was Tattars Becher (b.1837 d.1864), born in Bremen Austria. He came to Milwaukee in June 1856 and moved to Greenville, Wisconsin in late 1856 or 1857. He was a shoemaker. He married Josephine Erhart (b.? d.1903).

My great-great grandfather was John T. Becher (b.03-17-1853 d.1911), born in Bavaria. He came to the U.S. when he was one and one-half years old. Lived with parents in Milwaukee for one year and moved to Greenville, Wisconsin in late 1856 or 1857. He married Anna Kreutzberg (b.1859 d.1937) in 1879.

My great-grandfather was Edward A. Becher (b.01-??-1893 d.5-21-1970), born in Greenville. His brothers were John, Henry, Conrad and Jacoob. His sisters were Mary, Magdalen, Anna and Cecelia. He was a Watson salesman and later owned his own restaurant and ice
cream parlor. He married Bertha Harter (b.7-23-1893 d.9-5-1984) on

My grandfather was Leo E. Becher (b.4-14-1919 d.11-27-1997), born in Stratford, Wisconsin. He was a physician. He married Corinne Herz (b.5-6-1926 d.2-10-1974) on 04-23-49. His son, Gregory, is my father.

If you would like to know anything else, or get a copy of photos of the family of John T. and Anna Kreutzberg Becher, please e-mail me. If you have anything that you think I would be interested in, please e-mail me and let me know.

Max Becher
