My name is Max Becher and I am thirteen years old.My great-grandfather was Edward Becher (b.1-19-1893 d.5-21-1970), brother of Mary Becher who married John Bauer, your grandfather. Here is some information that I know:
My great-great-great-grandfather was Tattars Becher (b.1837 d.1864), born in Bremen Austria.He came to Milwaukee in June 1856 and moved to Greenville, Wisconsin in late 1856 or 1857.He was a shoemaker.He married Josephine Erhart (b.? d.1903).
My great-great grandfather was John T. Becher (b.03-17-1853 d.1911), born in Bavaria.He came to the U.S. when he was one and one-half years old.Lived with parents in Milwaukee for one year and moved to Greenville, Wisconsin in late 1856 or 1857.He married Anna Kreutzberg (b.1859 d.1937) in 1879.
My great-grandfather was Edward A. Becher (b.01-??-1893 d.5-21-1970), born in Greenville.His brothers were John, Henry, Conrad and Jacoob.His sisters were Mary, Magdalen, Anna and Cecelia.He was a Watson salesman and later owned his own restaurant and ice
cream parlor.He married Bertha Harter (b.7-23-1893 d.9-5-1984) on
6-??-1915.
My grandfather was Leo E. Becher (b.4-14-1919 d.11-27-1997), born in Stratford, Wisconsin. He was a physician.He married Corinne Herz (b.5-6-1926 d.2-10-1974) on 04-23-49.His son, Gregory, is my father.
