my g.g.grandparents were George and Mary Beddoes, living in Tipton Staffordshire in the 1820's they had 5 children i know of :- John B 1825, George B 1829 , Solomon 1832, Elias B 1834, James B 1836,
John is my g.grandfather he (m) Mary Ann Fereday. Mary Ann Fereday was born at Bilsden Staffordshire.Before they came to Yorkshire they lived At Cop Hall Street West Bromwich.
John and Solomon his brother came to Yorkshire in the 1860's To work in newly coalmines at that time John lived at 11 Prospect Row Altofts near Wakefieldwith Mary Ann in 1871.
They had 8 children :- George 19 B West bromwich

Mary Jane 15 B ""
Elizabeth 13 B ""
John Edward 12 B ""
Margaret8 B ""
Annie6 B Altofts
Rosan1 B Altofts
Solomon Beddoes worked at Altofts but later moved to Mexborough, Recorded living there on 1881 National Censes.
Margaret Beddoes is my G.Grandmother she (m) James Rogerson Appleby in 1883 at leeds parish church.
