My great grandfather, Charles Beddoe (1809 or 1819-1900), came to the the Pittsburgh PA area from Blaenavon, not far from Pontypool, around 1890. His father may have been John Beddoe (1778 or 1779-1860), buried at Noddfa Chapel, Abersychan.

Any connection?
