My 3 x grt grandparents John Beddow and Mary(nee Jones, formerly Edwards)were living in Porthwgan,Sesswick,Holt near Wrexham in 1860 when son John was born( 21 Sep 1860). He may have siblings. John married Elizabeth Griffiths(b 15 Nov 1857 in Is-Y-Coed,near Wrexham)on 30/31 Dec 1878 at Parish Church of Bangor-Is-Coed(Bangor-On-Dee).Eldest child(my Maternal grt-g/mother) Mary Hannah Beddows b 30 Sep 1830 in Dutton Diffeth,Is-Y-Coed. Siblings include Charles J(b 1883/4),John William b 1888/9,Elizabeth m a Wrexham Speed,Louisa m Charles(Charlie)Taylor from Capenhurst,near Ellesmere Port and Chester,Cheshire). Mary Hannah(Polly) married Alfred Ernest Norsworthy 1906 in Wrexham. 4 daughters-Amy(my maternal g/mother)b Apr 1907,Wrexham & d March 1947 in Birkenhead,Cheshire(now in Merseyside),May(d young),Louisa(d young)and Ivy b March 1919. Amy married Herbert Edward Handley 1925 in Wrexham or Birkenhead. 3 of thier 5 c/dren survived c/hood. Ivy(b 1930),Norman(b1931) and Irene(my mother)b 1941,Wrexham.
