Re: Beery, NW Missouri 1842-Present
I am interested to know if you have any other information about the Kelley family that you have listed. I am descended from a John Kelley that was, according to a family Bible, born in MO about 1840. He had a son, Albert Oscar that was born in MO in 1870. Albert came to western PA with his mother about 1896 after John died. The main reason for my interest is because Albert's one son was named Dale Alonzo Kelly (Albert dropped the extra "E" in the name Kelley). Dale had five sons (my dad and uncles)named the following:
James, Lester, Joseph Oscar, Rueben, and Dale. There is also a Pearl in the family. The names "Alonzo" and "Rueben" are not common names and I'm wondering if the family you speak of is part of my family? We know that my great grandfather Albert and his father John were in MO in the 1870's. Any thoughts or information that anyone may have would be greatly appreciated. If you could respond by posting a follow-up, I'd be most grateful - my e-mail has not been working correctly lately. Thanks Again,Sheryl Kelly
