Hi Jacky,
Sorry not to have answered sooner. The Behagues that came to England, or at least those that I have found are the following:
Jean Antoine comte de behaque,(apparently he was gouvener of the Martinique island around 1792.)
Nicolas de Behague ( ancient officer of the Condé army who married during immigration to England.
N... Behague (Hugenot who left France to escape religious persicution).
I also found an address where apparently Jean Antoine de Behague lived in London. It's 91, Dean ST London. If you could verify this it would help.
As for the Australian side, I have practically all of the Behague familly from James (married to Mary Burnett then to Maria Hamilton who died in 1925 & the 12 chldren of these two marriages.
I'll continue to search this side in France as the name Behague is quite a common name in the north of France.
I'am now looking on the farming side ..
