I have recently come into possession of a hand written letter explaining some of my husband's maternal family ties. They begin with Ernestina Handrich Behm, who would have been his gg grandmother. Ernestina (and her husband, whose name I do not have! Does anyone else?) had three (3) children: Bertha, Albert, & Anna.
Bertha apparently married someone named Middlestadt, had 4 children, and moved to Washington state. Albert married a Mary Tesch and had 6 children.
Mary Tesch Behm's brother (or possibly cousin), Charles Tesch, married Anna Behm. Charles and Anna had 17 children. The eighth (8th) child of the 17 was born in 1905, named Anna for her mother, and married Frank Kuehl, SR.
Frank & Anna Tesch Kuehl had five (5) children, we believe, they are as follows (not in age order): Gloria (known as Laurie), Thomas, Florrey, Stella, Ann, and Frank Jr. All of the Kuehl children were born in the Weyeweagua area of NE WI.
Anyone having any further details, please contact me. We need more info on Ernestina, her spouse,her children, etc. We still live in NE WI and will help research what we can....
