Lois, I have found the Cooper/Lowe/Bell tie-in. Actually others found it for me. Fred Baker, a long lost distant relative just discovered this year, had some DAR records, and he searched them to find my (our) Bell tie-in. One Florence Bell Trader made application for membership in the DAR in 1964. Listing her ancestors back to the Rev. War, she listed Timothy Baker as the War Veteran, which was Fred's line, starting all of this. Florence Bell's father was William Bell, who was in turn the son of Eben Bell (1810-1889). Eben married Elizabeth Lowe, one of the daughters of Cornelius Lowe. Elizabeth's sister, Amy Ann, married my g-g-grandfather, David Cooper. Florence E. Bell, b.12-29-1873 Chili, IN William Bell, b.11-03-1848 Holmes Co., OH; d.07-04-1937 Chili, IN Eben Bell, b.01-10-1810 Trumbull Co, OH; d.08-21-1889 Chili, IN It seems that persistence pays off sometimes. And living in the age of the Internet doesn't hurt, either. Notify Administrator about this message?
