My maiden name is Colleen Charlotte Bell. I am now seventy eight years old.Abner Lafyette Bell, was my Grandfather.I remember his brother Hosea,Benjamin, and a cousin or another brother, Bud Bell. Their father was Benjamin Bell and mother Elizabeth Allen,the second wife of Benjamin. Benjamin had brother's Hosea, Denis, Charles, and many others. Their father was George Bell and wife was Balsanna Jane Bell.George was born in South Carolina and wife was born in North Carolina. He died in Benton Co. Tenn. around 1840. The estate was closed in 1843. Poor Jane, she had many children, some went to Ky as I remember my Grand Pa telling me about those visits. According to my Grandmother, Hattie Treece Bell, Jane lived to the age of 102. What the records show is she died at age 90.I live in Waukegan Ill. Orginally I was raised in Southern Ill. George's son Benjamin settled in Williamson Co.Ill. Quite a few of George's children became Mormons. Tel is 847-406-2473. I have Benjamin's son Hosea's GGGrandchildren's addresses.
