I can find only 2 Broadayway families in MS in 1860 and those 2 plus one more in 1870. The 1860 are in Jasper and holmes counties and the other one in 1870 in Marshall County. None have Emma or Paralee.
There is a large (Yancy) Broadaway family that is shown to be from NC and migrated through TN down to Craighead Co. AR. I do not find an Emma or Paralee in them either.
