MABEL M. CAIRNS

Mabel M. Cairns, 90, a resident of 1513 24th Avenue, Menominee, passed away Sunday, March 30, 2003, at the Menominee
Care Center. The former Mabel Bellin was born on June 1, 1912, in Menominee, to Emil and Constance (Higuet) Bellin.

She married George Cairns on October 13, 1928; he preceded her in death in June of 1982. Mabel was a resident of
Menominee all of her life, and attended the Catholic School system. She enjoyed crocheting rugs and making pasties.

Mabel is survived by five daughters: Patricia (John) Zwier of Milwaukee, June (John) Maier of Peshtigo, Shirlie (Robert)
Hruska of Wausaukee, Barbara Doyen of Menominee, and Judy (Errol) Schreiner of Wausaukee; five sons: Donald (Mary) of
Marinette, Richard of Menominee, David (Ruth) of Menominee, Eugene of Stephenson, and James (Laura) of Menominee; 31
grandchildren, 48 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sons: Ronald and
Francis; one sister, Rosalie; and one brother, Frank.








Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 3, 2003, at 4 p.m. at the CADIEU FUNERAL HOME. Friends may call from 2 p.m. until the time of services. The Rev. Phil Tousley will officiate.

Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Menominee.

A memorial fund has been established in Mabel's name.

She was a loving mother and grandmother.
