Wow! I too am the granddaughter of Stoland Belrose. Actually, his father was George, and we knew him as Charles Roland Belrose. I have 3 versions of his name. They are as follows:
Born: Stoland Bartholemew Bellerose 4/20/15
changed to Baromie Sterling Bellerose
Changed to Charles Roland Belrose Sr.
Died: 03/22/1978 Huntsville Alabama.
The family pedigree I have is as follows
my father is one of Stolands 3 sons with Opal Genevieve Clinkenbeard of Buchanan Missouri. She died 12/9/1991 in Gardendale Alabama.
I had not realized there were more grandchildren, which may answer a few questions I have stumbled across.
His family information is a big mystery to me.
I have no birth/death dates for George Alma Bellerose (his father) but I do have the continuation of lineage (somewhat)
George was born to Jean Nathan (aka Jonathan) Bellerose of Quebec and Marie Elisabeth Girard. Jean and Elisabeth were married in New Hampshire on April 28, 1878. I have been able to trace parts of this line back to the early 1600s, and would be willing to share and possible collaberate.
