Julius C. Bement, death date & burial info ?

Need Death & burial info for Julius C. Bement, died between 1853-1860, probably Tompkins co, NY, Groton, or Skaneateles, NY. Born about 1813, married Sarah Darling, dau of Reuben & Frances Hart Darling, about 1840. 1850 census of Skaneateles shows living there, with wife Sarah, son Reuben age 9, dau Frances age 5, son Ed age 2. Dau Sarah born 1850, obit says born Skaneateles; Her marriage cert in 1885, Clarksville, Iowa says father Julius C. Bement. Son Willie born 1853-1856, Willie's 1923 death cert lists Ithaca NY as place of birth. Wife & Mother Sarah Darling Bement shown alone in Groton, Tompkins Co, NY 1860 census, with Willie & Sarah; Husband apparently deceased, but where & when did he die? Dau Frances living with future in-laws, the Darby's, in Dryden in 1860, age 15. Ed born 1848 joined Civil War from Tompkins co, NY, his application in 1862 lists only "Son of Sarah Bement", doesn't list father who had apparently passed away prior to 1862. Will of Reuben Darling leaves money to his daughter Sarah Bement in 1870. Sketches of Tompkins Co, gives history of Reuben Darling, mentions his dau Sarah Emmaline married Julius C. Bement. Would like to know if anyone has any information on where & when Julius C. Bement (and his son Reuben age 9 in 1850 census for that matter) died & where buried. Ozlynn@chartermi.net
