Hi Dawn. Don't know if I replied to this by personal email or not. There could be a link between our lines of BENNS but I do not yet have enough information about my line before they came to Kentucky to know for sure. Today Frederick County is in the extreme northern part of Virginia. I do not know its boundaries in 1800. I will keep you in mind as my research progresses and keep an eye out for mentions of Gabriel. I do think some of my BENNS ended up in Iowa after leaving Kentucky and Missouri.. I know some related families and neighbors did.
