Kent,
Could you provide more information on the marriage of Job Colbert to Chloe Benn? We have a Job Calvert (Colbert) as a brother of Jacob Calvert Prior to his marriage, this Job and his brother Jacob lived in Bald Eagle Twp of Mifflin County, PA. His brother John lived in Potter Twp. The brothers moved to Belmont County, OH c. 1800 to 1830.

It seems highly probable that the Job you cite and the Job of Belmont County, OH, are the same person. Both were married to a Chloe.

However, Calvert family tradition states that Job and Chloe had no children. They apparently moved to Belmont County, OH and then to Monroe County, OH. Job, according to tradition, moved back to Belmont County, OH when Chloe died. His John brother lived there.

Brother Jacob lived in Morgan County, OH. He moved there after founding the community of Jacobsberg in Belmont County.

Jim Calvert
