I am reserching my ggg grandmother Margaret Benn bn 1793 in England or Scotland around Cumberland I think.
She died in 1867 in Mount Pleasant Ontario ( Brant County)and is buried at the pioneer cemetery in Mount Pleasant with her Husband John Carlyle who was the half brother of Thomas Carlyle the 18th century writer from Scotland. They were married Aug 17 1817 in the Parish of Bridekirk Cumberland England. Any help would be appreciated
