Hi Everyone!

Walter and Nellie Benn were my grandparents. My Dad was Woodward Benn, son of Walter and Nellie, and my Mom was Millie (Moore) Benn. Walter and Nellie's children (all deceased), were my Dad (the youngest); Mozart of Quincy; Verda (Tonsing) of Weymouth, MA; Myrtle (Coan) of W. Roxbury, MA; Irene (Curtis) of Stoughton, MA; and Zelda (Clark)of Yarmouth, MA. Great names huh? Obviously, Walter and Nellie had great senses of humor!

Me, my Mom and Dad, and my wife and children are life long residents of Quincy. My father, mother, myself and my 3 half sisters grew up in the Hough's Neck section of Quincy. My Dad lived in Quincy his entire 83 years, born in a house in Hough's Neck and passing away in 1994.
I am my father's only child. My Mother had 3 daughters from a previous marriage.
I'm 51 years old, have lived in Quincy my entire life, and have a 23 year old son, David Benn, and an 18 year old daughter, Jillian Benn.

The only other Benn in this group, was Mozart's son Brad. He was killed in a motorcycle accident back before I was born. I think he was only 18 years old.

Walter and Nellie's grandchildren are scattered all over. My cousin Carol (whom I stay in touch with) is Verda's daughter, and lives in NY City. The rest of my cousins are all over- Chicago, Florida, MA, etc.

If I think of anything else, I'll add more. Or, if I can help in anyone in any way, please don't hesitate contact me!

It was nice to communicate with you all.

Take care!
