Hi Bob!

I am Barbara M. Benn (Barbara B. Spada-Shaker) of New Britain, Ct. the daughter of the late Bradford Mozart Peter Benn (he's the one who was killed on his motorcycle, 29 June 1953 in Hough's Neck). My twin sister, Jean Bradford Benn and I were born exactly a month later, July 29, 1953.

My aunt is Joyce V. Kimball, my father's only sibling. She now lives in Norwell, Mass. with her husband, Philip Kimball. She got me intouch with cousins Sandra in Hanover, Mass. and Carol in NYC for the famly research.

The "other" Bob Benn is of Fredericton, New Brunswick, Can.
His son Peter Benn has entries on this forum page. Their connection to us is the brother of Walter Franklin Woodward Benn - Robert William Mason Benn. Bob Benn was so wonderful with info he had and the lineage of our Benn's from William Benn of Coolbanaeger, Ireland (I sent a query to Ruby Cusack on the New Brunswick website and Bob responded to the ad she placed in the St. John, NB newspaper!) Such a fabulous man. Such a great artist!!
Must be Benn gift - both my twin sister and I are artists, Aunt Zelda was one and my father Bradford, too!
Jean has lived in Phoenix, AZ for many years and has 2 grown sons and one 16 yr old daughter. Her husband Eugene passed away 3 years ago. I have two grown sons and my husband and I have a funeral home in CT. I correspond with Cousin Carol almost daily and try to see her in NYC when I can -Hope to hear from you soon - I'd like to get together with all the VOLUMES of research we have successfully completed the past several years! It's been amazing!
Your Cousin,
Barbara B. Spada-Shaker
