Starting Sept. 5, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

Because my Alcorn family married two Benn women, Mary and Rebecca, I copied some material about the Benn's from the Venango County Historical Society in Oct. 1997. My Gr Grandfather, James Newton Alcorn, married Maria Elizabeth Mahle. These people are all in the James and Margaret McDowell Alcorn's family tree located at:
http://data.ancestry.com/cgi-bin/sse.dll?db=gedfam&ti=0&f0=20585&f1=194 . Harold Prather, historian, is related to the
Alcorn family and has written a book full of data on this family. Let me know if I can look up something about the Benn Fammily from my records.
