Mark, Do you know if your John Bennington was related to Steve Bennington, b. 1872 in Speedwell, Wythe CO? John married Elizabeth Cornett; Elizabeth died in childbirth, and their was a second wife. John had 13 children, one of whom was my grandmother, Etta Margaret, who married Johnnie A. Mitchem. I don't have any other information on this family, except a list of the 13 children's names.
