Thanks for the info. That is interesting. My mother's Tripp line goes back to John Tripp, the founder as he is called that came in 1630's I believe it was.
I am already getting confused and apparently mixing up people with the same names. I was tracing Hormidas' brother Solyme, and have info for his Uncle Solyme mixed in.
That's what makes it interesting, sorting out all the pieces and where they fit.
It can be a small world. After working awhile in the school dept, I realized I had been working with your niece, Debbie. When she told me her father said they were related to Tripp's in Westport, I never thought to ask her maiden name. Once I realized she was a Benoit, made perfect sense.
