Awesome! Great Stuff! Thank You! I've been in the Drouin records (at American Canadian Genealogy Society library in Manchester NH - a GREAT library for such research). But as we live in Texas with Vermont/Quebecois roots (born and raised), its tough to get at such things when you need them. So I truly thank you. Victor Benoit is my wife's grandfather. So I will "take it to the bank" (i.e.: put it in my database).
I'll leave the allegations in the person notes, but enter the St. Hyacinthe as the birth place. It does leave me wondering what the meaning of the Connecticut data is. Perhaps someone else named Benoit. We've spent so much time taking our lines all the way back to 1600s France, that now we're just diving into some of this more recent stuff.
Thanks once again.
