A lady on this group was asking me about a Mary O’Brien who was married to my ancestor Thomas François Benoit. I have since lost the Email. Here is what I have; Thomas François “Frank” Benoit Frank Benoit (1870, November 9 – March 01, 1937) born in St-Pacome/Sainte-Anne de la Pocatière Quebec, married Mary O’Brien (May 1866 – February 18, 1918) in 1895 September 17th. In the Railroad Trainmen`s Journal September Assessment notice No.195, 1895; it is noted; Brother Frank Benoit, vice master of No. 14, and Mary O`Brian were united in marriage at St. Gabriel`s church, Montreal, by the Rev. Father Benoit, of Ottawa. From St Gabriel parish 1895; Mary O’Brian’s father is the late Timothy O`Brien, mother Elizabeth Lawless. Frank & O'Brien Children: 1. John (May 12, 1897 - ?) 2. Mary Margaret Elizabeth (July 3, 1899 - ?) 3. Leo (août 1900, ?) 4. Francis Henry (February 9, 1909 - January 1, 1974) Frank’s brother Joseph Éléonore (16 février 1865 – March 18th 1935) Was a Dominican father and performance the marriage. Joseph is buried in some Dominican cemetery somewhere, can’t find information on that. Their father (JEAN-BAPTISTE BENOIT) was shipper/receiver boy at Saint Hyacinth & Richmond railroad stations (1850s) and later became Station Master at la Pocatière.
