My great great Granfather was also Rognald Berentsen, my great grandfather was Bernt Bentson, my Grandfather was Oscar Bentson brother of Otto Bentson, my father is William Allen Bentson, I am Brad Allen Bentson aged 58, My son is Benjamin Allen Bentson.

I have many many photos of the Bentson family from South Dakota, and Montana and Oregon. Including Otto and brothers and sister when he was youg and in his teens/early 20s

We live in Brisbane Australia, but I grew up in Portland Oregon.

My dad came to Australia during World War One and was stationed in Brisbane with General Douglas MacArthur.

Dad met my mother in Brisbane during the war and married, thus she became a War bride who traveled by ship back to Salem oregon after the war.

Dad and my mother travelled to Norway in the early 90's and after much pre trip research and assistance with a Norwegian man named Berentsen ( No Relation )found and visited the the Berentsen family farm near Trodenheim Norway.

I am also interested in contacting other Bentson family members, from our branch ( Rognald Berentsens decendants )of the family.

Regards
