Hi Mike,
I was very surprised to hear from anyone so soon. I just began looking into the Berard Clan history in the last week. It is something that I have thought of often but never did anything about it.
I would be very interested in seeing what you found out about the Hoye family. Unfortunately, my father never spoke of his mother's family and the only thing I know about them is that she came from Natick and my father had some cousins by the name of Mc Kinney. Bernice Mc Kinney was the Organist at I believe St Patricks Church.
I was not aware that my great grandfather had come to the US, in fact I didn't even know his name until I read your posting.
I do not live too far from Fall River and it would be easy for me to take a ride down to see if I can locate his death certificate.
