Are we related?

I'm from Germany, and I have some ancestors called Bérard or Berrar. Might they be related to your branch(es) of the family in North America?

The earliest ancestors I know about:
- Théodore Bérard (born 1761 Überherrn, died 1821 Überherrn) married Elisabeth Aubertin (1764-1805), later Françoise Paul (1777-1833)
- Théodore's parents were Gasparus/Casper Bérard (born 1728 Fremersdorf, died 1779 Überherrn) and Anna Maria Decker (1731-1796)
- Casper's parents were Leonardus Bérard (born 1700) and Elisabeth Langbour (born 1705)

Überherrn and Fremersdorf are two villages that belonged to département Moselle / Lorraine / France until 1815, but that are now on the other side of the German-French border.
