Hello Nancy:
As far as i can tell I have no Joseph Berard in my line with the exception of my own grandfather, born in 1878, died 1963. Many of the Berard's at that time did not use their baptised name however. Also, i do not show a Marie Gagne anywhere in my line. Perhaps you have other information I do not have. If you can give me some more details regarding your line perhaps we can make some connection.
