Douglas & Barry;
A reminder that BERKLEY/BERKELEYs who want to have their DNA tested (for genealogy) and compare with others, are invited/encouraged to join our DNA Project.Established in October 2002, we now have 147 participants, and with matching DNA have proved 17 separate lines - one of which is the BERKLEY line from Westmoreland and Loudon Co, VA from the 1600s.Although started as a BARTLETT-DNA project we are open to all variant spellings including BERKLEY, BARKLEY, BARTLEY, BARCLIFT, etc.
Use the link below to join the project and purchase your DNA test.

FTDNA offers very good prices for DNA testing.Almost all in the participants have ordered the 25-marker (Y-DNA25) test, and with recent price reductions, many are now getting the 37-marker test, which would be best in the long run.
The TEST: FTDNA sends a kit with plastic sticks, vials, a preaddressed mailer and instructions.Just rub the inside of your cheek with the stick, put the end of the stick in a vial, repeat, and mail it in – no blood, no pain – it’s like brushing your teeth.
I'd be happy to answer any questions.You can see many of my posts on the BARTLETT board - search DNA...
