Hi my mother was Susan Bernath. She was from Hungary also. I am not sure as to what my granparents names were. My grand mother may have been Elizabeth Bernath. And we always called my grand father "Aupoo". I do not really even know what year my mother was born. My aunts and uncles were:
Ann Bernath
Joanna Bernth (they were twins and at one time lives in Ohio)
Margaret Bernath
Polly Bernath
And there was also a brother but I believe he passed away at a young age.
I have had a hard time finding out anything about this side of my family, and I am not sure if any of them are still alive. My mother passed away almost 14 years ago. Maybe my information may help you in someway. Thanks.
