Rene Besnard dit Bourjoly married Marie Sedillot dit Jerlotte at Trois-Rivieres, Quebec, on 2 Feb. 1661.
(Rene Jette give his surname as Besnard or Benard).

He was the first man tried for witchcraft in Canada.
